North Park’s Psychology Department and Office of Diversity and Intercultural Life (ODIL) are excited to be national partners for YWCA USA’s annual #StandAgainstRacism campaign, taking place April 28 – May 1.
Join North Park students of the PSYC 3500: Social Psychology course and ODIL as we join the YWCA and others for #StandAgainstRacism by conducting a standing demonstration to raise awareness about structural and institutional racism!
We will stand in unity and become educated by student leaders on the 2022 campaign, “We Can’t Wait: Equity and Justice Now”!
Attire: Wear your masks and an orange shirt!

Note – In case of rain, the event will move indoors to the North Park Univeristy Gym Foyer)
Stand Against Racism 2022: This year, YWCA Local Associations, allied groups, and individuals will focus their events and organizing on the myriad of racial justice issues that impact the quality of life for communities of color. Most importantly, we invite you to join us by rallying to make change for communities of color and telling the world We Can’t Wait: Equity and Justice Now!
