Baker Demonstration School Takes a Stand

Baker Demonstration School students, staff and families will be showing their solidarity to end racism in all forms and connect with other community members by standing outside our school on Sheridan Road in support of Stand Against Racism.  Students in Prek-8th grade have engaged in classroom discussions and activities throughout year through the lens of Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity and Justice, including topics of race, privilege, intersectionality and anti-racism. This is one way to put our learning into action. We will host a pre-event for poster making and discussion for families and caregivers.
