The historical Native American Boarding Schools, a policy by the US government to “tame the Indians” by separating children from family and tribes has had a lasting effect in Indian Country called multigenerational trauma.  The churches are very complicit in this effort.  Guest speaker Pete Hill from the Native American Community Services of Erie and Niagara Counties will talk about  Indigenous Traditional healing for survivors and descendants, and awareness and understanding for allies and supporters. The film “Unseen Tears” will be shown.
